Chris Johnston has performed in 24 seasons and over 160 roles at the American Shakespeare Center as Actor and Music Director. Acting Credits include: Macbeth in Macbeth, Enobarbus in Antony and Cleropatra, Rosencrantz in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, King Henry the Sixth in Henry the Sixth parts 2 and 3. Music Direction credits include: The Willard Suitcases, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Peter And The Starcatcher, Return To the Forbidden Planet. Chris has a B.F.A. in Actor Training from the University of Utah. Part of the Mary Baldwin University Masters of Letters in Shakespeare and Performance class of 2023.
Lindsey Walters, a former SVGS student, has had the pleasure of working with the program as an instructor and choreographer for the past 10 years. She has worked as a choreographer for many local theatres including ShenanArts, Oak Grove and The Waynesboro Players. She currently works as a commercial and portrait photographer (Miscellaneous Media Photography) serving the Shenandoah Valley and beyond. She graduated cum laude from James Madison University with a B.A. in Media Arts and Design.
Kyle Remnant is Director of Bands at Eastern Mennonite University, Adjunct Professor at Bridgewater College and James Madison University, and Jazz Band Director at Harrisonburg High School. As a trombonist, he has performed with the Waynesboro and Charlottesville Symphonies, the Charlottesville Opera, the Sulzbach-Rosenberg International Music Festival Orchestra in Germany, and the Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra. A musical theatre enthusiast, Kyle has recently appeared in Oak Grove Theater's production of Forbidden Broadway's Greatest Hits, and was Co-Music Director for The Hunchback of Notre Dame at ShenanArts. Kyle received his degrees from Bridgewater College (B.A.) and James Madison University (M.M., D.M.A.).
